OPENING FRIDAY DEC 20th 2024

Hurray we did it! Or perhaps the sky did it, but either way we are thrilled to announce that Dec 20th we will be open for the season! Lifts will spin 9:30am-330pm, Ticket window and rental shop open at 830am, Kitchen open at 9am and lounge open at 11am.

What to know: We are planning to be open all days throughout the holiday season from Dec 20th - January 5th except the following days: Dec 24th & 25th and January 1st. Unless otherwise posted we will be open, lifts running 930-330.

Season pass holders: if you popped up or sent in your photos your passes are ready for pick up. Thank you! If you have not yet done so we will be printing in the rental day lodge from opening day. Avoid the wait and pop up tomorrow 9-3!

As typical, expect some early season marginal conditions, particularly on the bottom 4 tower. Out runs, the park, and JaeRae are closed. Please respect this as there is some serious water moving at the bottom of these run outs and it is not safe or fun!

And finally, hurray! We are so excited to welcome everyone back for some holidays turns!~ Play safe, ski with a buddy and most of all enjoy riding the ridge!

December 10th 2024: operations update

No doubt many of you felt the rain last week, yuck! Despite that we were able to complete our track packing before the temperatures got too warm. We are now sitting in a hopeful spot for a TENTATIVE soft opening December 20th 2024.

What does this mean?

Runs are track packed and freezing well. Staff is being trained and all stock and orders have been placed to open our doors. With a little help from the forecast we are hopeful but not yet able to say for sure if we will be open. IF we receive approximately 20cm of snow we feel confident we can open but will continue to update as these storms roll through the interior.

To get ahead of the game we will be printing season passes on the following dates:

December 13th (9-3) 14th (9-4) 18-21st 9-3pm. Please utilize these times as we will not be printing past these dates. If you require printing and cannot pop up those times, we will be able to receive your photos via email at ridgeofmurray@gmail.com and we will be happy to get the cards ready for you.

Please note: all pass holders are required to have their day or season pass on their person to access the lifts, so please ensure you get up to see us or send the info so you can maximize your time on the snow!

LOCKERS:

We still have some large wooden lockers for rent for the season at $70/season. We will also have day lockers available for the season at $10/day. Bot can be purchased in the rental shop during operating hours or the hours listed above.

Nov 29th 2024: Moonlight Madness Pop up shop!

Well, aren’t we lucky! While town got wind scoured, we had a beautiful wind free dump of snow! Inching us closer to our goal of opening ASAP!

Tonight, we will be set up in our cozy pop up shop across from spirit square! Serving up warm cinnamon buns, hot apple cider, warm sweet spiced chai, and trail burgers! We will also be selling merch, stickers, and all the passes ( day passes, 3 & 5 Day, 12 pass bundles) and gift certificates! Pop in, warm up by our fire and pick up some stocking stuffers for friends and fam, or yourself! Open 5-8pm!

Happy Thursday and happy snow day! We have over a foot of snow on our base and much more in the forecast. We are busy full steam ahead: cleaning, stocking, training, shoveling, plowing and will have our cat on the snow any day now.

With this hopeful early season weather, we are preparing to get our doors open on time or perhaps even early this year!

Right now our tentative opening date is Dec 20th, please follow along to hear any updates. When we know, you will know.
